Erase Hubs Scratch Our Itch
We love Erase hubs! Like our Verum rims, these hubs strike an ideal balance between performance, weight, and reliability. Their approach to the ratchet drive that we’ve long appreciated about the venerable DT 240 hub makes some subtle improvements, including larger ratchet diameter and a durable titanium freehub, while matching the weight of the DT 240 hubs. Importantly, the hub shells are anodized rather than powder coated, so the finish holds up much better to the elements, such as our salty coastal air.

For 36 spoke wheels we feature another of our favorite hub manufacturers, White industries. These beauties are made right here in California, and are robust, reliable, and easy to service. Our production wheel sets always feature black hubs, but these are also available in a selection of really great colors.
If the above choices don’t blow your skirt up, there are plenty of other good hubs out there. If not Erase or White Industries, it’s hard to go wrong with DT Swiss. Their 350, 240, and 180 hubs are all excellent, with the 240 being the best value for a premium wheel build. We can provide hubs from many of your favorite manufacturers such as Chris King, Industry 9, Shimano, Tune, Hope, Project 321 and others.
